"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come" (2 Corinthians 5:17, NIV)
When you learn to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and your Lord, you become then and there a new creation. You are reborn with a new spirit and are given the chance to walk a new life.
Sure, there may be countless hold habits that you may have carried over to your new self, but with enough discipline anything is possible.
Remember that the Lord shall lead you to new opportunities, open new doors for you, and guide you to create new relationships.
In turn, when you embrace Jesus Christ, you let go of the old and welcome in the new.
Do not let anything discourage you. If anything, be encouraged because you are bound to receive the Lord's favor no matter what.
Give yourself a chance at a new beginning because you of all people know you deserve it, and the Lord knows it as well.
He is only biding His time for the right moment to unleash His blessings upon you.
Embrace a new faith that accepts Jesus Christ and you shall be rewarded abundantly at a time when you most deserve it.
