listening to a Christian song.

While driving this morning I was listening to a Christian FM station.  

Then Don Moen came on singing “God Will Make A Way”, one of his hit songs. 

Don Moen is one of my favorite gospel singers because of his soft and sultry voice. Another gospel singer that I like is Ron Kenoly. 

Whenever I hear them sing, I can feel their love and passion for God. You can really say they’re not just performing but worshiping our almighty God. 

But I believe that the power of their songs was because of the lyrics.  
You see, some parts of their songs were drawn straight from the Bible which is great. 

What it means is, whenever you sing gospel songs you’re actually memorizing God’s word. 

It’s like memorizing scriptures without even trying. 

My point in this email is, whatever will work for you in memorizing scripture, just do it. 

You can turn Bible passages into a song. 

You may take memory cards with you wherever you go. 

You may use computer software or apps. 

I mean, whatever. The hardest part is always the beginning. 

But once you’re over the hump, memorization is fun and addictive.
