"Rinngggg..." How To Win Your Everyday Battle

"Rinngggg..." 

It’s 5:00 a.m. and my alarm clock just went off. 

Groping in the dark and hit the snooze button for extra 5 minutes as if it will really matter. 
The morning battle began. 

Battle between the comfort of my bed that’s pulling me down and the opportunity that I can spend an intimate moment with God. 

In Matthew 26:41 Jesus said “…The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” 

That’s why most Christians are inconsistent in their personal devotion with God. 

Your sinful body tells you various reasons why you can skip your daily devotion with God. 

It magnifies all the things in your to do list and it feels like each one on your list is yelling “URGENT!” 

So skipping your morning devotion with God is easy BUT it’s not healthy. 

But I tell you what: The KEY to a consistent time with God is “HABIT.” 

Study shows that it will take 21 days before a certain activity becomes a habit. 

In short, if you’ll be consistent in your Quiet Time with God for the first 21 days it will turn into a habit. 

Once habit is set, there’s no more struggle in staying committed with God in your appointment with Him.

TIGA FUNGSI UTAMA ROH MANUSIA

Ada TIGA FUNGSI utama dari Roh Manusia yaitu Hati Nurani, Intuisi, Persekutuan :

1. HATI NURANI. Ialah organ untuk membedakan.
Fungsi pembedaan hati nurani atas perkara benar dan salah bukan bersandar pada pengaruh pengetahuan pikiran, melainkan suatu keputusan yang timbul secara alami dan spontan sering kali sekalipun perkara-perkara tertentu telah diterima oleh akal, namun hati nurani tetap menyatakan keputusannya sendiri.
Fungsi hati nurani ini beroperasi secara berdiri sendiri, langsung, tanpa terpengaruh oleh opini-opini dari pihak luar.  Bila seseorang berbuat salah, hati nuraninya akan mengeluarkan suara tuduhannya.

2. INTUISI ialah perasaan langsung dalam roh manusia dan tanpa bersandar pada apa pun.
Jadi perasaan-perasaan dalam batin kita yang terbit di luar bantuan pikiran, perasaan dan kehendak.
Dengan Intuisi, seseorang dapat mengetahui suatu perkara dengan sesungguhnya, sedangkan pikiran hanya sekadar memberi "pengertian" saja.
Pengetahuan orang Kristen terhadap segala wahyu Allah dan pekerjaan Roh Kudus semua berasal dari Intuisi ini.

3. PERSEKUTUAN berarti penyembahan kepada Allah.
Pikiran, Perasaan, dan Kehendak tidak dapat menyembah Allah, sebab semua itu adalah organ-organ Jiwa.
Allah tidak dapat dialami melalui pikiran emosi dan kehendak, Allah hanya dapat diketahui secara langsung di dalam roh.
